If you gravitate towards sports, it’s always fun to catch a minor league game at Great Lakes Loons and support the local team. In the summer, get front-row access to one of the best events in women’s golf, the LPGA Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational.
Though it's a hub for innovation and technology, Midland also prides itself on access to history, culture, and art. The Midland Center for the Arts is a wonderful place to see a unique exhibition or catch the latest Broadway Tour. Not far from the center, you’ll find the stunningly curated Dow Gardens. Around August, you can expect the favorite neighborhood festival, RiverDays. With live music, food, games, and a hot air balloon show, this unique event is beloved by everyone. For the entire month of December, locals and visitors can enjoy Midland’s famed Santa Claus House. This magical production is run by the Midland Area Community Foundation and has been cherished since its construction in 1987.
